Chorus Vlčí stopa (The Wolf's Trail) after the text of the poet Jaroslav Vrchlický, to whose poetry Janáček often turned in his work. The first to perform it was Ferdinand Vach and the Women's Choir of the Moravian Mixed Teachers' Choir. The first public performance took place at a concert in Luhačovice on July 23, 1916.
