The Published Theoretical Works of Leoš Janáček

Between 1877 and 1927, Leoš Janáček produced an extensive series of music-theoretical studies. Many of these grew into larger thematic works that were soon published in book form. Janáček published many of his theoretical treatises almost as soon as he had finished writing them. These texts were published together in the first volume of Theoretical Works I (1877–1927) in 2007.
